The most legendary veteran in the entire lore is Wolf from Aliens vs. Predator: Requiem. Unlike typical hunters who stalk Earth for sports or coming-of-age rituals, Wolf operates on an entirely different level of authority and purpose. Wolf is the veteran Yautja (Predator) sent to Earth as a “cleaner” to contain a catastrophic Xenomorph outbreak in Gunnison, Colorado. Named by the film’s production crew after Harvey Keitel’s fixer character in Pulp Fiction, Wolf serves as the premier hunter and main protagonist of the 2007 film Aliens vs. Predator: Requiem. He is portrayed physically by actor Ian Whyte.
The Ultimate “Cleaner”
Wolf is an Elite-class Yautja specialized as a crisis responder. Known formally within the expanded Xenopedia lore as a Cleaner, his job is not to collect trophies. Instead, he is dispatched directly from the home planet whenever a hunt goes catastrophic, threatening to expose his species or let a Xenomorph outbreak spiral out of control.
A Lifetime of Battle Scars
Wolf’s physical appearance immediately tells the story of centuries spent fighting the universe’s most lethal entities.
- The Melted Face: The left side of his face is heavily disfigured by severe acid burns—the permanent calling card of a previous close-quarters encounter with Xenomorph blood.
- The Missing Mandible: His upper-left tusk mandible is completely snapped off from past combat.
- The Blind Eye: One of his eyes is completely milky-white and blinded, forcing him to rely more heavily on his bio-mask’s advanced sensory trackers.
- Rune-Carved Mask: His helmet is etched with ancient Yautja runes, each symbol acting as a record of a high-tier hunt or a war he survived.
Highly Advanced, Custom Weaponry
Because his mission is absolute eradication, Wolf is equipped with highly devastating, customized tech designed to liquefy evidence and slaughter mass numbers of prey.
- Dual Plasma Casters: Wolf is the first Predator seen wielding two shoulder cannons simultaneously. After one is damaged, he famously reconfigures the remaining parts into a high-powered, handheld plasma pistol.
- The Xenomorph Whip: His signature melee weapon is a segmented whip crafted directly out of a Xenomorph’s razor-sharp tail. It effortlessly slices through hardened alien exoskeletons and ignores their burning acid blood.
- Dissolving Blue Liquid: He carries a specialized chemical solvent used to dissolve dead bodies instantly, completely wiping away biological traces of both Xenomorphs and humans to preserve interstellar secrecy.
- Laser Mines & Power Glove: He utilizes deployable laser grids to lock down corridors (slicing invading aliens to pieces) and wears a heavy power glove capable of punching directly through concrete and solid bedrock.

Known Victims
- The Predalien: Mortally wounded during their final rooftop battle when Wolf violently tore out its inner jaw.
- Deputy Ray Adams: Killed, skinned, and hung from a tree in the forest to conceal the Yautja’s presence.
- Karl: He was killed in the graveyard.
- Earl & Scotty: Killed inside the sporting goods store.
- Jesse Salinger: Accidentally killed in the hospital when one of Wolf’s shurikens missed a Xenomorph and pinned her to a wall.
- Numerous Xenomorphs: Tracked, hunted, and exterminated across Gunnison (including in the sewer, swimming pool, sporting goods store, and hospital).
The Gunnison Infestation
Wolf’s final story unfolds when a scout ship crashes in Colorado, carrying a deadly Predalien hybrid also known as Chet. Wolf travels to Earth alone, treating the situation with cold, tactical professionalism. He single-handedly wipes out entire swarms of Xenomorphs in sewers and hospitals. His journey ends on a rain-slicked hospital roof in a savage hand-to-hand duel against the Predalien. Stripped of his weapons, Wolf impales the hybrid with his wrist blades just as a military nuclear strike clears the entire town—ensuring his cleanup mission is permanently accomplished.
