The Hunt Is Officially On! Marvel Announces “Predator vs. Punisher” at SDCC!

Comic book fam, the absolute unthinkable has happened. Marvel Comics just blew up San Diego Comic-Con during their massive “Marvel Comics: Next Big Thing” panel by announcing the ultimate sci-fi/action crossover event: PREDATOR VS. PUNISHER!
This four-issue limited series launches on 4th November 2026, spearheaded by writer Frank Tieri (Space: Punisher) and superstar artist Jesús Saíz.
The Plot: An Urban Meat Grinder
When a ruthless Yautja hunter arrives in New York City looking for the most lethal prey on Earth, he ends up tracking Frank Castle. But things spiral into pure chaos. The war quickly leaks into NYC’s criminal underworld, dragging a complete rogue’s gallery of classic street-level mob bosses into the meat grinder—including Kingpin, Jigsaw, Silvermane, and The Owl!
Speaking on stage at the panel, Frank Tieri didn’t hold back:
This is the series that’ll answer the age-old question of who is pop culture’s greatest killing machine… Fans can expect a $%^& ton of blood and violence, but also a lot of twists and turns… including an unexpected shared past between our two combatants.

How Does This Compare to Predator vs. Wolverine?
For those who read the smash-hit Predator vs. Wolverine series, editor Mark Paniccia noted that this series is shaping up to be an entirely standalone beast. While Logan relied on his mutant healing factor and Adamantium claws to survive hunts spanning across decades, Frank Castle only has his tactical mind, an arsenal of military grade weaponry, and a complete lack of fear. It’s going to be a completely different, grounded, and hyper-visceral kind of warfare.
