In October, 2025 Noah Hawley spoke to The Hollywood Reporter, revealing his plans for Season 2 of “Alien: Earth” would further explore corporate politics between Weyland-Yutani, Prodigy and the other monopolies which govern Earth in the years preceding the Nostromo event.

- The Nostromo Connection: Alien: Earth is set in the year 2120—exactly two years before Ellen Ripley’s fateful voyage on the Nostromo. Hawley has teased that Season 2 will bridge the gap. We might finally see the origin of Special Order 937 (the corporate mandate declaring the crew expendable).
- Weyland-Yutani’s Full Might: Prodigy Island was just a sandbox. Now that the corporate suits know the Xenomorph exists on Earth, the gloves are off. Expect full-scale military blockades and corporate espionage as factions fight to weaponize the creature.
The Long Wait for the Hive

Alien Earth Season 2 Release Date
Currently no official release date is set however we suspect the series will likely debut in the late Fall or early Winter of 2027 based on the current trajectory.
